U can block him and not read what.
Ppl has the freedom to bash what.
Do you guys bring so much cash money on a trip?
Or use credit card to pay? Limit S$5,000 how to pay? Two cards?
Are you aware that you can call up the bank and ask them to temporary raise the credit limit. Last time before I went oversea for a month, I called the bank and they increase the credit limit 1.5x for me.![]()

If not wrong, iwc can get better than 10%. Up to salesperson discretion and if you confirm buying on spot.
Eur 5300 converted at 1.65 is still 8745. Seems like not that much cheaper...
Thought nowadays, the credit limit for most banks are 5X of your basic salary ?

I just read in WUS, a US guy called up his IWC AD and got 20% off without even asking. And he is now trying to ask for more discount. Seems local AD ain't that good!
Ok Seriously - The IWC Ingenieur 3239 (40mm) vs Explorer 1 39mm (214270) - Page 2
I just tell you this la. You go orchard road, you throw small pebble on anyone, the person is confirm wearing either sub/exp/daytona.
if you wear sub, you want so many people to wear sub oso? might as well wear casio rite
The only watch brand the aunties n uncles at wet markets knows are Rolex.
It's a universal show of wealth.
I am saving up. To get one for my next birthday next year. Assuming each month I save $500, I will need 12 months to reach $6,000 just nice to buy my first Rolex.
A good and reliable watch like Rolex, would be my first entry to high watches!
I just bought a Rotary quartz watch from a forumer here for my birthday last month.
Slowly I am learning how to appreciate mechanical watches.
hate to admit it...but chris is right in a way..
rolex getting way too common as a luxury watch...
just take a walk around orchard especially ion. look at ppl's wrists, most common luxury watch will be rolex sub, next will me Pam..
but there must be a reason why its so popular? other than holding value, I guess its the quality and reliability...
there are other brands that r equally expensive but with lots of quality issues.
, but there is certainly truth in what he said. even the uncle selling kopi-o to me, fishball noodle stall uncle at the coffeeshop near my workplace are wearing it, and also taxi driver driving me also wearing a rolex, just depicts how common and mainstream rolex is.good point to note is Santos 100 was the first wristwatch that flew lol
Ballon Bleu is nice, but some may find it a little feminine
their Calibre De Cartier is beautifully executed sporty piece too, love the case shape
