The tritium batons and unique lume is one of the factor that caught my eye. It is also less common compared to Tag Heuer. Like i mentioned, i'm looking for something to wear besides my Sub. Was considering the black bay and omega PO.

The black bay have always been a soft spot for me, but it's too similar to my sub. except for the color of the bazel. Pre own black bay are hard to find too.

aren't they all very similar? how about something dressy then?

Most of the time i'm on my daytona. the other watches have gotten very little wrist time.

LoL... i'm sure a lot of us encounter this problem. going in search of another watch, but you always end up looking at similar design, because these are the ones we ultimately like.

Yes, the BB, PO are very similar. The Ball Trainmaster which i'm looking for, has a different look n feel.

more impt to me is how it matches me; my daily wear, skin tone, personality.

hmmmmm when I started looking at watches a decade ago, maybe yes. I was collecting skeleton watches back then. maurice lacroix, corum, etc

Then I started collecting fun watches a few years back; mainly from azimuth. Mr roboto, roulette, BIT etc

Recently I go for variety and probably timeless designs (?)- daytona, santos, and now looking for a la tradition in YG. or a daydate in YG. Different watches for different occasions and dressing. mainly daytona because it's bracelet and I sweat easily. Leather straps dont really last on me.

so..... maybe I'm just fickle minded hahahaha

put it on and see..... hard to visualize. the dimensions can make a difference also.

wow bro spartanz. u getting a rolex sub gmt nw? I rem you started off with iwc aqua timer, planet ocean 8500. with this, 3 u have more or less complete an impressive diver watch from these 3 companies. or did I miss out any more?

Why is an in-house movement always seems better value compared to some ETA28XX?
What if the in house movement is a old design, and is available in many of its watches range over the years.
Still in house is better?

In house not always better, new design not provenance have issues.

Why is it better, exclusive. Typically they are well decorated. Watch maker invested the money to do R and D with aim to make a better movement then what's out there, more % of parts made in Swiss as compare to ETA. Hopefully it has better QC. In fact many test are perform on such movement only a handful of black sheep exist out there.

Better value if u considering the time and money invested on a new movement vs just buy and drop in a movement; should the 2 cost the same one is paying for a assembled time piece.

No leh, it's quite ok. Just need to make sure that the strap is snug to prevent the watch from moving around. Can be a bit uncomfortable when it moves cos the watch is heavy.
