If you look like a spartan (based on popular culture imagery e.g. the movie 300), then small watches may not suit you.

In any case, the JLC he is wearing isn't exactly that small and is an iteration of the reverso in one of the larger dimensions.

Chief, i wear my Reverso casually too. Especially when i go to casino, I want to be comfortable as i can. But not singlets and shorts and flip flops. Polo T / T shirt with nice chino shorts and loafers still look good. Just my opinion :)

well... its rather personal. JLC reverso was initially a sports watch worn by Polo players in the 1930s. By flipping the watch face around, polo players don't need to worry about damaging the watch dome, while they are playing. Plus. the size wasn't very big. The JLC reverso "Small" we see today was exactly what mens in the 1930s worn on their wrist.

If you have a small wrist size, the JLC Reverso Grande, Duetto or Classique would look more proportional. If you have a larger wrist size, then Reverso Taille or Squadra would look more proportional.

I am still in love with Seiko Chronograph.

Wow, the 1/10 sec must be quite a sight.

I personally don't think its suited for casual wear. It looks best wear a shirt, more of a dress watch if I may add. Its not at all feminine, just like the debate over 36mm watches are feminine. The current trend are all moving towards bigger watches and IMO Pateks current offerings really CMI.

I like timeless pieces and the reverso is one of em.The reverse sits flat so abit of problem with people with small wrist. Frank Muller rectangular sits slightly better with a curved back but not a fan. Tried the UT reverso before. Fits nicely but looks funny on my wrist with a t-shirt on. Its certainly a timepiece I would love to own one down the road.

Guess it all boils down to trying it for yourself and your personal comfort level. If I tell you is OK but you think otherwise, it's still a no-go right?

For myself for example, my (dis)comfort level is with big watches (think PAM), clearly against prevailing norms! lol

your leather strap is seasoning really well... the roughness goes very well with the patina of your GMT

Hope it is not flaking crazily.. that's a sign that it is GG very soon.

Anyhow it's only a strap that can easily be replaced, thankfully
