I made some good friends in Tekong (one of which unfortunately passed away during NS) but the NS friends that I still meet up with are those that I met during OCS and later went to the same camp and battalion with.

To be honest, Tekong wasn't that tough (I found my NCC days to be much tougher, ironically) and times passed really fast due to how tightly packed training is. The only tough aspect is adjusting to the book in book out cycle and the NS lifestyle, and slowly feel yourself growing dumber when you wear green

Been reading reports and articles that Chinese movements are fast challenging swiss and German made movements on cut throat pricing with quality which is fast improving and able to be on par.

First time seeing customize seagull movement tourbillon.

I am really impressed by the aesthetic design of the watch.

Do give us update on the time keeping part bro lezzare! Tqia!

Chinese movement tourbillion are sold for like USD$2500, so 4800 is very possible.

Movas is a local watch company that uses customised Seagull movements quite beautifully. Worth a 2nd look and if u can get over the "perceptions" of Chinese watch movements, definitely more affordable than their European counterparts.

Yes. I've been looking for a decently priced and tastefully designed (i.e. without the "Tourbillon" wording on the dial and the gaudy looking 24hr day/night indicator) tourbillon watch for awhile now, oh and also something more casual. Most had the classic case, hands & roman numerals look. I had my eyes set on the Memorigin J-10, but felt that it was too casual. Then I chanced upon this custom design piece from Movas.

Movas is a local watch company that uses customised Seagull movements quite beautifully. Worth a 2nd look and if u can get over the "perceptions" of Chinese watch movements, definitely more affordable than their European counterparts.

Definitely worth a second look. Sean is also open to using Miyota and also possibly swiss movements if the customer is willing to pay. Imo, Movas is able to offer a watch that is visually exciting at a decent price point.

I believe if you are willing to pay more, the Chinese can deliver more quality. Most of the movement components comes from China anyways and then they are assembled in Europe. Will keep you guys updated.

You're not alone. Those NCC CLTs really not human one. NCC tortures while army trains. That's the difference.
