Whether you go to cortina, THG, sincere or dickson... it's the same watch.

Main difference... service level. Which is pretty subjective and personal.

discount wise. Depends whether the people here are kind enough to share n pm you... especially just a few weeks ago, there was a small dispute regarding watch discount in this thread

Oh I see, Ya its the disocunt wise, ya hope kind souls would PM me thanks.!

Anyone going or went for the Panerai exhibition?

Would like to go for it! Until I realised that you'd have to book an appointment with the Panerai boutique. I would feel more at ease if there were a small crowd looking at the exhibits at the same time.. Haha. :o

I did a walk-in to the exhibition around 530pm yesterday and was like the 3rd visitor there. A pretty babe came over and gave me a guided tour. :s22:

Anyway, you can probably finish looking in less than 30mins. There are also "watch making sessions" held in the small room behind the boutique 4 or 5 times a day till the end of the exhibition. It's not a real watch making session per say. More of them showing you some of the movements, very basic disassembly and technical Q&As you have etc. You can check out the timings with the staff at the exhibition. ;)

Yeap. Cheapest way.
1 tablespoon baking soda powder + 1 tablespoon water.

Rub the paste on both sides of the watch strap (remove strap from watch first)

Let it sit for at least 1 hour.

Then use a damp cloth to remove the paste and let it dry completely and naturally.

Use leather conditioner to keep it from cracking.
