Any of you seen the Gnomon plus website? It's apparently a "concept subsidiary of Gnomon Watches".

So far there is only 1 brand listed under it, Ancon Watches, but it has some interesting designs! Some are homages to the Rolex Sub and Panerai, and some are its own design.

A quick summary of the Ancon range under Gnomon+

Some Rolex Sub homages but with brass casing and bezel

Panerai homages

A funky avant grade design that will appeal to fans of the Dietrich OT-1. Some models even have carbon fiber cases too!

I took a quick look through Ancon Watches' website. It has more watches that Gnomon+ doesn't carry but interestingly, Gnomon+ also has some Ancon watches not shown on the Ancon website!

I'm very interested in the Panerai homage. Was initially planning to get a Panerai homage via Getat but I might get the Ancon version instead.

There is a really nice stealth version of the Ancon Sea Shadow but it's not shown on the Gnomon+ or Ancon webiste's model section. Their website needs further refinement...

They help sent it back to Sinn for servicing or? Mind telling me how much did it costed too?

They do it themselves. Depending on parts replace . Start at $150 as stated on their website. My only full service therefore only $150. Time taken is 8-10 weeks.

Watch maker at Swatch Service Centre for OMEGA told me that increasingly slower time-keeping is normally associated with depleting lubricant oil. A magnetised watch also displays the same trend just that the "slow time-keeping" doesn't increasingly run away.

Since warranty's expired, let IWC's Richemont examine the watch, diagnose the problem and then do a quotation for you. Then, bring the watch to a reputable watchmaker like JW for the cheaper fix.

Excellent suggestion. But do note the opening hours of JW

Diagnosis comes free?

Wa I did a search on the service centre richemont and seems like quite a few bad feedback about them. Ask them to diagnose is ok?
