Haven't been to compare local AD prices yet. How many % discount they normally give?

I wonder why too. Selita first and now this. But consumer I think it's a great movement (no pun intended) to have accurate movement at affordable prices and no longer monopolized.

There may come a day for even simpler movement which are able to keep good time being even more mass market. Similar to the swatch auto. Hehe interesting time ahead.

I'm pretty new to the watch buying scene and would appreciate your input here.

Looking to get a PAM312/320 and am looking around for options and see it's being sold at (obviously) boutiques, ADs and other dealers (example Chuan, HJ etc)

My question is being new to the scene, cost is also a sensitive issue, don't want to pay 2k more for the exact same thing. So for places like Chuan, HJ etc, I understand they're from the grey market, however how exactly does the warranty work? Is it going to be in-house? And technically speaking any big positives getting from AD vs local dealers?

Or what about buying pre-owned watches I see being traded at watchforums etc, what should I take note going into those transactions?

if it's brand new, warranty is covered internationally for pam.
AD - more satki feel, you may be able to create relationship with the SA but by buying one watch, no use. unless you can keep intro-ing ppl to him/her.

Grey market - same watch that is sourced from overseas AD, without tax and all the other blah blah stuff, currency exchange, it can be sold cheaper.

pre-owned, check for warranty, box, papers with serial number matching to the watch case. can bring to richemont for verification if you want.

for me, i will go wherever is cheaper. lol i don't see a point having a business relationships with AD because i won't be buying watches every once a month.
