It is an Android feature not just Xiaomi.

Knew about the developer mode part but not the jelly bean one haha. The usb debugging feature is accessed through developer menu if anyone needs it.

Try to create a new profile, still facing the problem

Maybe a power profile config setting you can look at? Default one cleans memory every 5 mins, try creating a new profile which is set to NEVER to see if it might help?

I trust you applied the profile to make it effective as well? I haven't experienced the same issue, but at the same time I haven't been listening to music long enough perhaps on the device. How long typically from the time you start listening to music before the auto shutoff takes place?

Also can you confirm that this happens with local mp3's as well, eliminating streaming mode situation where it could have been wifi power saving feature kicking in?

bought my glass screen protector for $22 at some shop in burlington sq
dunno if that is considered pricey or not, but at least application is done properly

Able to duplicate with playing mp3 and open the browser. The only way to resolve is to reboot the phone. After reset, one or two days the same issue repeated again. Aftet resetting the phone on this morning till now so far so good. I think if the same problem happen again will report to the service center.

Received the 2 through Fedex on Tuesday and the UPS delivery was yesterday. So all's good. Oh the Fedex delivery was made by a guy in Singpost uniform.

I suspect a major cause of the delivery problem is the sudden large number of deliveries to be made within a few days. While it's not easy to suddenly ramp up capacity but the couriers ought to have a plan on how to handle the requirements. Perhaps Singpost ought to be appointed as a courier. This could spread the load somewhat.

I did not even receive the extra payment that I paid by PayPal. No need to talk about USD60 or RED battery cover compensation.

I emailed Xiaomi and received a standard reply that refund will be made between 7 and 30 days. I plan to open dispute on 25th April if I don't get refunded by then.

No update or Xiaomi FB and no responds from them despite many users posted the same question. I am beginning to think that Xiaomi might have over-committed on the compensation part.

Actually it's the button (? menu/context button) to the left of the Home button at the bottom of the touch screen...
