Ya I didn't follow the news of xiaomi thought I know there's been a big Hoo ha sold out recently so I tot it's already in market.

I did install Antutu too and got the following a results.

(Sorry Antutu images removed due to insufficient post count)**
Benchmark score 17465
Architecture : ARM Cortex-A7
Quad-Core ARMv7 Processoer (VFPv4, NEON)
Freq: 300.0 ~ 1593.6 MHz
Etc...

So does this look like a fake?
They were selling the $169 Redmi too.
I got the 1S at $198

Anyway, I'll be interested to hear from any "genuine 1S" owners if they got similar bugs I described. Or how I can flash the SG rom or should I.

Cheaper den redmi! :eek:

Butt as usual only china will hab da color variety. Elsewhere incl sgp will onli get da standard set. :(

Phone can't boot up and stuck at the xiaomi logo screen after failed update . Need to visit service center with the order receipt?

Don't need receipt and is the receipt in the 1st place? I was there last week, only brought the phone along and they could tell whether this is local with warranty via the IMEI.

It should be the real thing. U can use CPU-Z to check the real hardware of the device. U can find your specs online too. Antutu scores should be near 20k. But somehow the ROM that came with the phone (Stable 23) is not well optimised and has plenty of bloat.

The usable RAM at at one time is only about 110-250 MB. That's way to little.

IMO, do not attempt to flash the SG ROM until Redmi 1S is officially out in Singapore.

Gosh... I also got a RedMi 1S from the SG Tech Show. How can the organizer allow this kind of unorthodox sales going around.

I also experience that after opening the contacts, it just crash and could not view some of them. I have only 26 contacts in the SIM card.

Can some brothers advise what should we do? I still have the receipt and the sales staff says they are 3 months warranty? KNN, I bought 2 sets some more!

Frankly, the set looks quite genuine and does not looks like fake one.

Whether is fake or authentic just download CPU-Z to check:D

Hi all, i just bought a mi note. I am facing this problem. My Facebook app tends to hang after 5 seconds of usage. anyone experience this before?

Would like to check with you guys. Redmi has 2 SIM. So if I have:

- 1 prepaid sim (not using data)
- 1 data sim (data only, no calls, gotton from M1 Fibre plan)

If I put the data sim in the 3g slot and the prepaid in the 2g slot, would I be able to register Whatsapp and other apps that checks the telephone number ?

eg. if I download whatsapp and I register (using the data sim), it will need to check my telephone number right ? would it check my data sim or prepaid sim ? can I get it to check my prepaid sim as my data sim has no number ?
