Received mine last evening. Chatted with the UPS guy, and he said that they will be working till late 11pm++. Seems like they are really rushing like mad with the deliveries.

Anyways, my mum is loving it. Switched on the elderly mode, and the UI is really nothing but big big buttons. Can "pin" contacts to the home screen for easy dialing access. But this mode disable the ability to pull down the notification shade. Well, is fine since my mum is using the phone mainly for calls only.

So far so good. Charged once last night. See how long the battery can last since no internet services is turned on / config.

I initially got the phone just to test out of curiosity but when my mum saw it, she was like hinting she wanted it so it is now hers.

The big screen is great for her.

The phone doesn't lag at all. Youtube HD plays very smoothly. It is a very impressive phone.

The only things that can be improved is that the touch buttons are not lighted but after a while, you would know where to press. So far there is no way to install apps on the microSD card but most apps are small so that is not too bad. Games can be an issue though since they are huge.

Envious to those with the phones...but glad to see you all are enjoying it so far. However, one thing above, cannot install apps on microSD card? hmm but can shift apps to it?

I'm still patiently waiting for my phone. I stay at Upper Thomson, wished I was in the "woodlands" group...

You should get your phone soon. So far, I use some apps to move the apps into the microSD but when I tried to run them from the SD card, it asked if I want to install it which installed it on the phone again.

I think you might need to root the phone for that to work, I guess.

Can set the phone to 'Lite Mode' where only important functions of the phone is displayed, similar to big tiles used in Windows phone. Great for people who needs bigger fonts.

Newbie checking in :)
Just got the phone this morning about 10am. Delivered to my office in Loyang. The guy had many more deliveries to go.

Quite a lot of customization. The MIUI is really quite impressive. Having fun trying out different themes. How come Samsung or Apple can't give us this level of customization? ;)

Game changer, not in way of overtaking kimchi or fruit, but make people withdraw from paying so much for those big brands.

though already many good China phones, but none has made people sit up and look.
