Updated to miui6 on redmi 1...

however, after the update.. There's no sound coming out from the speaker.. be it playing mp3, youtube, videos etc..

Only when I plugged in earphones, then I able to hear sounds...

Tried factory reset quite a few times.. still same issue..

Don't recall having this problem when I was using this ROM version. ATM I'm using the Developer ROM so can't verify if this is the case.

BTW, how did you update this ROM pack?

put the rom file inside sdcard then update.. cos unable to update via OTA due to internal phone storage not enough.... =(

So far only a few have received the ROM via OTA. So I assumed you're using the Updater app to update this ROM.

Downgrading should not be an issue, the question is whether can it be done via the Updater or does it require TWRP to do so. Do let us know the outcome.

downgrading can't be done via the updater... keep on prompting there's errors..

I give up downgrading.. =(

Hopefully there's another firmware update....

It seem like the URL link provided point to another ROM pack. Did you download this one: miui_HMWSGGlobal_V6.6.1.0.KHBMICF_033545b329_4.4.zip

Try clear app cache and dalvik cache.
This is not hardware issue.
