I have not experience that problem. It looks like maybe it did not detect the earphone jack. Try wriggling it around and see if it works.

Have tried wiggle and other earpiece still cannot.
And attempted checking with CS. recommended XiaoMi earpeice?

Headphone jacked got problem?

The earphone jack needs to be pushed into the slot, until you feel and hear a click.

I also experienced this same problem as you, the first time I used it.
Thought the phone was broken, but instead the problem was on the user end

Just plugged in some cheapstake earpiece and its works but not the jays earpiece. Eeks!

Mine do not have that issue. You can do a Factory Reset and see if that helps. Or use the Updater to get the latest official ROM.

i like their built-in wallpapers, ringtones and notification tones and downloadable themes (abet those cute ones) very sleek, harmonic and simplistic. unlike sammie's ah-beng music tones and messy wallpapers.

already is the latest rom. but still encryption is there. i installed an app called mobileiron which need to encrypt the storage. after i found out it is not compatible, i removed the app and there is no option to decrypt the storage.. i have tried to do factory reset but still cannot undo the encryption..
