Anybody know how to install Playstore in Redmi ? The market that comes with it, too many chinese characters and it's a challenge to read that.

Still prefer the universal Google Playstore.

I found a way to do that. Search "Google Installer" from Xiaomi Market. Look for an app from Eric xxxxx and install it.

Thereafter, launch the app and install Google Play from there.

However, after all the installation, upon launching Google Playstore, error message "miui google play store has stopped".

Anybody has any ideas how to solve ?

The Singapore edition of the Redmi already comes with the Google Play Store apps. If you hit the china one, you might need to flash it with the Singapore ROM.

The only fault that I have w the Redmi is its lack Bluetooth 4.0 i think. Can anyone confirm this? Damm it .. Cannot sync w my fitness trackers. Error message that the app is not applicable with my device.
