i got my set today, and playing with it. can say not bad

but when i chat in browser, and switch to other apps while waiting for my friend reply, then switch back to browser, the browser will reload the page, i am using google chrome, wondering is that chrome behavior and should i use the default browser instead?

the miui browser auto opens new tab...irritating...

but i like to use the iPad user string, the pages loads better

Got my hongmi last night. installed framaroot and rooted phone. Installed app2sd app. Installed a game and using app2sd tried to transfer game app to sdcard. It said successful but further checked the storage the app was still in the internal memory. any ideas?? Need to create partition on sd card?

Once your phone is rooted, use System App Remover (ROOT) to move your app to SD. I have problem moving using app2sd too...

Try Google Pinyin, quite easy to switch between English and Hanyupinyin.

Guys, I just got my redmi today!

just wondering if anyone have this issue. If you only want sim card 1 for 3G and sim card 2 for making call. is there a way to prevent accidentally making call from SIM card 1?

Maybe this question has been asked before... can someone point me to the post?

When you key in the number to make call, you will see 2 green icon showing your SIM1 or SIM2, press the one you want to use... applies the same to SMS too. pretty neat and simple..

don't get what u mean by diff ringtone to diff line? do u mean diff contact no? if so, can try this: press the Contacts app, choose the name of the person or contact, there are some details below, then u can try to change the default ringtone, see whether it works or not...

I have purchased a Redmi part of 5000 pcs on sale, received the phone Monday. It was working fine. Now the charger not working. Phone is fine only problem is with Charger.

Also the GPS calibration seems not working. I have tried to to calibrate by circling in Shape 8.

Anyone encountered power supply charger issue?

Is your GPS works ok? Can calibrate?
