I have purchased a Redmi part of 5000 pcs on sale, received the phone Monday. It was working fine. Now the charger not working. Phone is fine only problem is with Charger.

Also the GPS calibration seems not working. I have tried to to calibrate by circling in Shape 8.

Anyone encountered power supply charger issue?

Is your GPS works ok? Can calibrate?

check if u have turn on location access both satellite n network

circling in Shape 8 is for Compass...

Hold the phone tighttight and move in figure of 8 rapidly... dont drop ur phone. Aftwr i got mine to work aftwr searching thru google and come up empty handed

Hi guys, I bought China Unicom version of WCDMA Redmi, it doesnt come with Play store.

Anyway I can flash the rom to SG version, if yes, appreciate if someone can advise the correct way. Thanks!

btw, just to let you know redmi's android is customized with MIUI, while the real android looks totally different.

to install, just click Play store, then input your google account and start downloading apps like facebook, twitter, whatsapp, and games you like, popular would be angry bird, fruit ninja, ninjump, temple run, candy crush, subway surfer. etc.

Just called UPS asking about my last set as well, UPS informed due to xiaomi shipment, they have seconded to UMD for assistance.

There is a lot of miscommunication on shipment arrangement, which causes delay.

try this first,

it looks easy but it is not unless you have prior flashing/rooting experience.

be warned that things can screw up even you follow step by step.

i rem reading that SG rom flashing tools are available yet if u screw things up...

lol, they must run everywhere to deliver ma, if not how we received. my guess is they are super overloaded with xiaomi and amazon. most of my US amazon delivery is by UPS, only a few by iparcel/ singpost.
