It is hidden, Only if you do this..

Download QCustomShortcut!
It's available onto PlayStore.

Install-it, and open-it...

Choose a 'Shortcut Name' as : USB Connection
For 'Package', choose : com.android.settings
For 'Class', choose : com.android.settings.UsbSettings

Click on button [ Create Shortcut ] (this place shortcut onto MIUI desktop).

To test the shortcut, connect your phone at the computer, by USB, and click on the shortcut ... this launch 'USB computer connexion' to manage few USB modes.

Hi I wish to get a redmi and went on the website and it states out of stock. Is there a way we can do pre order or how does it work?

hi guys how come the charging stop at 99%

been charging for 3 hrs still 99% so is full or not?

i believe it's to prevent overcharging, the last % will be very slow to reach 100%. Off it and on, should show 100%

To be honest i'm quite pissed off with XiaoMi keep on running out of stocks for RedMi. Anyone else feeling the same and is looking at other alternatives? Heard HuaWei's new phones are coming out, and there's ASUS ZenFone series as well.

These should be comparable with RedMi in terms of specs and pricing as well, and considering RedMi keep on out of stock, i might as well get other phones that are more readily available.

Honor 3C is launching in Malaysia at RM499; they're using a version with 2GB of RAM. Asus & Xiaomi have to buck up. Good to have more players in the market. With competition, hopefully we get a better deal. The Xiaomi effect has already created ripples here in Singapore.

Hi all.

Just some updates and info sharing.

From 24 April 2014 sale, I received my Redmi Bundle Accessories from Fedex yesterday while I received my Mi In-Ear Headphones Gold from UPS today.

Redmi Screen Protector (Clear) review:
It consists of 3 pieces of screen protectors, i.e. 2 pieces of actual clear screen protectors and 1 piece of screen protector for you to practise.
By the way, the clear screen protector is a magnet for finger prints.
I prefer without the protector for my Redmi as the original screen does not leave so much finger prints.

Redmi Silicone Case (Black) review:
Do not expect the case to be tight hugging to your Redmi as it is made of silicone.
With the case on, my power button is super sensitive and it tends to power off the phone when I placed it my pocket.

Redmi Battery Charger (Black) review:
It is a decent charger.
Note that it does not come with any additional micro USB cable.
You are supposed to use the original cable.
It does has a light indication for the current status of charging the battery.
Red is charging while green is fully charged if I did not guess wrongly.

Rechargeable Battery (Orange) review:
It comes with a casing so that you may store your spare battery in it.

Mi In-Ear Headphones Gold review:
I have yet to test it out.

Wow...market place is flooded with BNIB Redmi and some wanted to sell at much much higher than Xiaomi Sg price :s22:.

Are you sure it was 28 April 2014 sale? It should be 24 April 2014, right? Good thing that you received your orders already, mine still waiting? :(
