Any update on the Auto On GPS problem? Seems like something is activating MTK_AGPS.

Hi.

Are you using Starhub?

It has been proven that Starhub 3G is causing the "Auto GPS problem".

I am on M1 and I have not encounter any "Auto GPS problem" since I removed my Starhub sim card.

Cheers.

Hi.

Yes, Redmi ringing tone is on the soft side.

Cheers.
Sold my redmi after getting the tab pro. Xiaomi's MIUI is awesome but the redmi's ringtone is soft and vibration can hardly be felt in the pocket and the 4gb is pretty pathetic. But the screen size + resolution and price still makes it a worthwhile investment

Nope. On M1 but trying to solve this issues for friends affected by this bug. I do know something is triggering MTK_AGPS...

not trying to flame but judging from the comments in the zenfone 5 and redmi thread, seems like redmi is more well received compared to zenfone. probably cause of the failed marketing by asus.

if only the stupid issues of gps could be fixed, redmi is one hell of a bargain!

It shows in Stock but when I click to order, it shows as OOS. But last night I could still order. Maybe at midnight they just did the cut off. Yup, hopefully this will signal to them that there is no more demand for the Redmi.

Probably they might have messed themselves up when they revised down the Redmi 1 prices and priced the Redmi 1s the same as the former Redmi 1 price. If they offered the Redmi 1 at the same price and the 1s a tat bit more expensive, they might actually be able to sell a few more Redmi 1.

If they drop the Redmi 1 price next week, I might still consider getting it but we will see. :s13:

Waiting for the Redmi 1S for damn long, hopefully they REALLY do sell it at the next upcoming timed-sale, 24th June!

Just try out backup feature in XiaoMi.
However, the data is 452MB.
How to remove it ?

Also, any way to store the photo taken with the camera into a SD card ? Couldn't found the setting after finding so long :s11:

Thanks.
