Correct. Is firmware bug but till now no fix.

If I am not wrong they ran out of stock for the 1S however there is Redmi Note LTE @ $229 but will need to purchase a SIM/ Topup card in order to purchase the Redmi note LTE.

what version r u running?


when u say battery drain w 3G on?


My 1s w 3G off n taking lots of pic + call can last 1 day


maybe u wanna get extra battery + charger? :)

if im not wrong partition table differs. you install sg rom you could softbrick it iirc

must repartition first

ps: not sure about fastboot tho

i find out if i Disable the Auto Brightness...the batt drain fast.

i Enable it back on....using with 2 sim cards with Data....can last a full day in office.
so far so good.

i have a redmi 1 and a 1S and I need to keep one as backup (i moved to z7 mini)

and I'm still not convinced which one i should keep. Same apps installed, and same stock theme: redmi 1 has ~500 Mb free of ram, 1S half of it.

Vibration in 1S is hardly noticeable in comparison to a normally strong vibration on redmi 1

Performance wise I don't see any difference. Obviously, THEORETICALLY, 1S has better rom development..but still a long way...

I noticed my 1s have a problem where once the phone power down the screen to save battery life, it is not able to turn the screen on. But the phone is still running. Anyway to resolve this problem?
