Anyone knows where to get provillus or procerin in singapore?

Been hearing these 2 over the net and been thinking of getting 1 of them or propecia..

I have a general thinning problem. And its been so noticable that its affecting my social life. I'm only 22 yr old but this thing has been occuring and gets worst each year since sec sch time.

Currently taking hairiser, but I know it doesn't work, it only strengthens my hair and preventing heavy hair losses.

I'm intending to see NSC (since I'm still in NS, going polyclinic 1st to get appointment).. But i rather not see them and cure this problem my way.

So if the balding area is at the top frontal part, does the existing hairs at that area need to be shaved off or teh doctor can implant the new hairs in between them?

If you're still 20% not happy and have the money, why not go for a second transplant? Is your donor area still thick and healthy?

I read that some people need 2 or more transplants to achieve optimal results.

Hate to sound like a wet blanket, but hair transplants may not always be a true solution. Hair transplants can only move hair, they cannot create new hair follicles. The amount of donor hair one has is limited, with most guys having enough donor for 8k-10k grafts, 10k being very optimistic. Some might have less due to tight scalps/less hair follicles.

Because hair loss is progressive in nature, one might end up losing more hair behind the newly transplanted hair, which is a very real possibility. Then you'll end up looking weird, with one small patch of hair in front and the middle part looking thin. So if you get a first HT, you must be mentally prepared to keep getting new HTs in order to play catch-up with the progressive hair loss. Getting a HT is not something to take lightly.

Factors such as age, family history of baldness and personal expectations play a big role in determining the success of a hair transplant. If you're in your 20s and have aggressive balding, a HT might not always be a good idea.

As for FUE vs strip, strip is still much more consistent in results and the yield is almost always higher. Until the industry gets better FUE instruments/tools, the very nature of FUE always risks some form of damage to the hair follicles during the harvesting, which is unavoidable. Good points of FUE is that the scarring is almost unnoticeable, with short down-time. It's better for people with minimal hair loss (which is quite odd, cos if your hair loss is minimal, i don't know why you're considering a HT). For people with bad temple recession, FUE will definitely not - in one HT session - give you results you'll be happy with, unless your expectations are low. Whereas for strip, mega sessions of 4k-6k grafts are possible.

There's a lot more info out there. A great forum to start out from would be this one. Lots of post-op pics and surgeon reviews. Needless to say, noSG HT surgeons' reviews there. I've done my own research and the closest HT surgeon to us with a solid rep is in thailand. I'm not advertising for him, just sharing what i've found out all these years. I suspect one of our local dudes went to him, but he doesn't surf hwz i think, so we can't get info from him.

Just know that HTs should not be taken lightly and it is a life-time investment

recently c from some articles tat ppl like to eat food high in carbohydrate and sweet stuffs are prone to hair loss...wondering ppl here got this habit? if i know this yrs back i would stop eating all this food, stop now dont know got use or not...

I believe diet & couple with stress...contributes to hair loss
and
not to mention, aggressive usage of hair wax/spray/clay product, dying or highlighting.

Actually if you do your research right, whether Provillus or what ever brand, they all contains Minoxidill, which is the active ingredient to prevent hairloss or grow more hair..

So there is actually no difference in getting Minoxidill itself, which probably is cheaper due to branding.

Its a bit like paracetamol, whether you get it in the form of Panadol, Lemsip, Guardian, Watson or from NUH, they are all paracetamol.

Actually the way to prevent hair thinning is to wash ur hair thoroughly. including the sculpt.. most ppl anyhow wash hair and tends to drop hair.that is from my experience though.

Any guys taking dutasteride? It's not approved by FDA yet but I find propecia not working for me these days. My hair thinning a lot lately. Or is it due to the shedding cycle?

scrubbing too hard when shampooing will make ur hair drop off prematurely too...

hair is actually most vulnerable when it is wet... combing wet hair will lose hair... like parting more and more obvious...

but then again i dun think its that serious enough for male pattern baldness... thats more to do with genetics...

procerin doesn't contain minoxidill.. and base on the claims other websites has review, both of them works, I just wanna try it as the package contains supplement pills and applying the solutions on your hair - which is considered a package.


I'm more interested in provillus since it is the best selling hair loss product in US..

Anyone knows where to get it in SG?
