Just found out that Hour Glass doesn’t do resizing of Rolex without bringing a guarantee card plus you have to wait a few days. This is quite different from a few years back when they would readily assist to resize the watch. Quite obvious they don’t want to do so but seriously, with so many sales people doing nothing in the show room plus you are an AD, you should be okay providing this service.
haha now ADs hang up to sell.

About 7-8 years back when I brought my watch to them, they just adjusted happily and service was good. Seems like now they are getting arrogant just because demand is high. Bringing warranty card fair enough, but to have someone wait a few days? That is clearly just a way to try to avoid the task.
Why would they be arrogant.. lolzz

Just to update: Cortina will adjust your bracelet IMMEDIATELY without having to check your warranty card. And it takes less than 15 mins

Yes don’t worry, Mr VIP. I know my place at THG. So, I will just patronise Cortina. :)

Haha, this reminds me of the bugger who bought the watch from the grey market then head back to the AD who sold the watch for "resizing". Sabo kia LOLX

Lol. You really believe they will blacklist the guy they sold the Daytona? You know how much you must spend to be allocated the Daytona?

Well.. I hear from my sa that a vip was blacklisted cos he sold an allocated patek (nautilus). So yes. It does happen.

My Rolex's warranty is ending next month, should I bring go to AD for servicing? No issues though.
this is not a car whereby they do all the checks and replacement before warranty lapsed.. they do not take in if there are no issues. anyway rolex are built to last, enjoy the watch.

Hi,

Got a question. Am looking to get a pair of OPs as couple watches. AD is definitely impossible. But regarding grey, I’m seeing a lot of those listed are the “hot” colours like blue, Tiffany etc.

If I’m interested grey or white which I haven’t seen much in 28/31mm & 41/39/36, do I need to check with the dealer or is it assumed that they don’t have?

Have you ever consider DJ instead? Maybe some ADs would be able to come thru with a pair of datejust... The AD experience and also possibly opening the door for further purchases should be taken into consideration..
