It’s a new thing from THG… what to do… too many flippers spoil the market.

The SA had to peel off the stickers, take a photo of the peeled stickers with the watch, tags, books and cards and upload into the system.
Not like peeling stickers ever stopped the grey market…

was at an AD just now.. was told to update my profile with a photo of my name card. This despite me having >5 watch purchase history with them. Apparently they (not sure the SA referring to AD or rolex) would like to screen their clientelle before allocating the watch. OMG what new heights of snobbery.
OK fxxk this bye bye, i'm going to buy from grey market from now on. Screw your stupid 'journey'.
they want to make sure those buyers are not watch dealers

The AD should just hold on to the warranty card till the end of the warranty period to prevent ppl from buying and selling for a profit. Anyway if any genuine buyer, when your watch spoit during warranty period also will send back to the AD or through Rolex service center.

Really ma, just tag the warranty to the initial purchaser digitally this way those who still think to buy and sell will have to trouble themselves to help their customer claim warranty should anything go wrong with the watch. Anyway i think Rolex is also secretly enjoying ppl re-selling their watches la....help them create branding for free

This is frankly quite disgusting. So if I'm a cleaner who saved up 10 years to get a rolex but i don't have a namecard/am not in a high position in my company then i simply dont deserve to get it through the AD?

No lah

The namecard is meant to write down the person’s name on the profile

NRIC now very sensitive due to PDPA

They already did that by writing down the purchaser name (for warranty cards prior to 2020 new card)

They removed the “name” row because the watch is meant to thrive in grey market

Don’t seem very fair to conduct business like that.
Can report such discriminatory practices to CASE?
although case can’t do anything, still a bit song to see them suffer some bad publicity.

Recently i bought a Santos L - Two Tone from a local AD and I expressed interest for a Rolex OP 41mm Black or Blue Dial, may i know my chances of getting an OP in the upcoming months?

You didn't ask the AD to give you an honest answer?

By right Shd be able to since it’s just an OP.
purchase history will impact the chances. I was allocated a popular sport series with a santos. But there’s many factors. Purchase history, SA’s willingness or ability to help etc etc.
