When you have a Rolex, you start thinking of AP. I don't disagree, the bracelet on the RO is really world class!

But after a while, you start to gian Patek, and once you get it, and see that there are so many people with AP on their wrists you also a bit sian of AP, and only wear your Patek.

Tio bo?

Yup that's what happened to me after Rolex. AP RO then Patek Nautilus then a Grand Lange ....

I have zero chance at ADs here so i made the decision to get them pre-owned before the prices went really north a few years back. Stretch the dollar to get the non exclusive colour/version etc, of course you must like the watches 1st not buy for the sake of buying.

Cheers :)

Ya sia...it used to be around 10 times then start moving already. My other watch 5-15 times range.

Brought it to RSC to fix for 2 weeks then collected it before the lockdown started. Ask the lady what’s the actions taken then she say they have replaced some parts.

Brought it home and after observing it for weeks it still requires 25-38 winds then start moving. Took some videos as evidence this time. Guess i’ll need to bring it back to them after lockdown ended.

Depends on how you wind and movement as well....some fast wind (as in you turn fast) like 8 times for newer movement 3285 will move already....older movement chiu wind 15-20 times then it moves....if chiu wind slow action type of cos will take 40 winds then start moving

or if chiu shake teh watch lightly it should also move already...for daytonas it’s normal to wind over 20 turns before it starts moving or even 30 if teh power reserve has completely deplete
