Lol. I see people pay over 60k for a steel panda. I worry for them. I know it's coming down for sure.

Hi guys,

I have been a silent reader here and after reading all the Lao Jiao / Seniors experiences on what models had been allocated after going for the “journey” or AD route & purchasing some of the “entries level watches” , I am keen to seek advises from you guys on what could be the next model that I could try seeking.

I understand that what you guys suggested/mentioned may not be the actual of my allocation because we all know, allocation are different for different ADs.
Anyway, this is the model that I had bought;

- Franck Mullar moonphase SS (Sincere AD “A”)



I am getting another two more models mentioned below;

- DJ RG two tone 31mm, Romans without diamonds; (model 278271 Cortina AD “B”, AM)

- DJ RG two tone 36mm, Romans with Roman 6 & 9 diamonds only; (model 126231 Cortina AD “B”, AM)

What do you guys think that I can request for / that AD can allocate? All feedbacks are welcome.

By the way, wanted to help answer your query but I can’t as I’m not with Cortina / Sincere. So maybe see who else here with this AD can possibly share with you what he knows.

Another one is the Ice Blue Platinum Daytona. Think it was almost 200k at the peak.

I remembered oOKelvinOo bought a certain models like FM crazy hours + other models (quite siong) before he was allocate with Pepsi.

Just some fun maths calculations where Rolex will be increasing its production by 30%;

30% of 1 million = 300000
300000 divide by 150 countries = 2000 watches per country (for easy calculations as we all know there are more than 150 countries in the world)

2000pcs divide by Singapore’s AD (assuming THG, Cortina, KHH, Emperor, our Changi Airport’s Rolex)
2000 / 5 AD = 400 per AD per year.

400 pcs / 12 months = around 33.33 pcs per month..

I think it is quite a lot…

Not sure what was the exact reason but from what he said, think he believed in some online prediction during Dec 2021-Jan 2022 when prices were peaking that market would go up further and that Panda could hit 100k in the not too distant future. However, around End Feb onwards, the prices start dropping until Early Sep where there is a slight recovery but it dropped again

Actually Panda 60k and Godzilla 40k is not too bad already. The highest transacted i believed was 75k for Panda and 60k for Godzilla.
