I too picked up a Tudor GMT and DJ41 at another place and they too were watches I really liked.

However, the one that gets the most wrist time is still my BB Chrono that I got from WoS. Absolutely in love with it!

Picked up my Yacht-master 40 126622 today.

Prior to the call, I visited Rolex boutiques along Orchard to to view both the Rhodium and Blue dial as I was torn between the two.

Rhodium was what I finally settled for and couldn’t be happier given that it’s my first ever Sports Rolex.

Wah I’m still waiting on mine… so they allocated you based on your Tudor purchase? THG?

I got my Tudor BB last year so I'm guessing it helps? I don't know.

Yes, pics and videos don’t do it justice. I’m waiting for the blue dial. Fell in love seeing it on some people’s wrist and also trying it in person. Not a fan of rhodium cuz very bland to me but to each their own. Enjoy yours!!!

Thanks! On average there’s 5 to 6 pieces delivered per year to what I know. I’m sure yours will come soon.

Indeed. I came across it a few times.. but the 20+k is always the old model 5067.. didn’t buy cos just dislike that it’s used and didn’t come to my mind to start patek yet. Was chasing AP then lol. I got it at retail now so not much diff.. and it belongs to me truly

Yep that’s one of my holy grail. I have to be honest and not trying to chase unrealistic targets for myself. You know what you have to spend in order to be offered the 5990. I don’t have that kind of budget. I’m sure you can but not for me, that’s for sure.
For me, a holy grail is something that has to be high in my priority list and which is relatively difficult to obtain but an attainable target. I do not wish to be dreaming of a holy grail which I know for sure I won’t be able to put my resources into getting one.

5 years ago, many watches going for grey at cheap price and also nobody wants. What is the point to talk about 5 years ago?
To share with you, 5 years ago, 5167 was already my target. I procrastinated and took too long. Then the requirements got higher and higher until the min purchase is a complication before I can be allocated one. So that’s life, sometimes easier way dun want to take and wait until things gets more complicated then take. Haha.
