Yesterday went to VC MBS cuz psycho-ed my friend to put name for a Fiftysix Daydate in gold 😂 was told there will likely be a price adjustment in June this year. Also confirmed that if there’s a new release, quickly text the SA to get into the queue cuz it’ll be a completely new list.

ask yall ah, yall think Yacht Master 126622 40mm blue/slate dial still possible if I try to buy from AD like Hourglass for first time buyer? Or even this model also impossible to get on their waitlist?
Those are not difficult to get in general but with any AD they won't be your first purchase. Got to buy something else to show your support to them. Be glad you don't have to PLP or post pics of your kids at THG.

I read that the finishing of VC is also superior and arguably even ahead of Patek, AP. But what kind of criteria is used to grade finishing, I have no idea too. Haha. I still have a lot to learn too from the experts here
There are mainly 4 levels of finishing:
1) industrial grade mass produce - the movements are all machined with minimal human polishing. Eg Rolex
2) mass produce with some human finishing - the bevels in the movements and bracelets are machined first then filed by humans. Eg Patek workhorse movements
3) hand finishing with non-convexed bevel - 2nd highest level of finishing with sharp interior angles but the bevels are not convex (no curves). Eg the new Zeitwerk Remontoir bridge
4) hand finishing with multiple sharp interior angles and convex bevelling - eg Simplicity, RRCCII and Patek 6301p
:)
