Oh ya, forgot that you have to provide to them your Facebook or social media details and maybe your hwz ID? Can't cheat on that la... new facebook / social media account surely they will suspect one (red flags) and bye bye to your Sub date.

First timer buy Rolex, need advice where can source for cheaper price. The below price gotten from AD Chinatown.

Tell you go pawnshop liao and suggest to pawn.... then they will open the case and check...also ask them show you so you can take photo.

Works for me all the time for free.

But I usually hop around the different pawnshop..

Pawnshops also not every one open up back case.

Experts don't need to open the case back. They see the real thing day in day out. Anything off with the colour, the font, the feel, the fit...it's immediately obvious.

Even the top grade fakes are still distinguishable from the real deal.

Sian sia. After doing more research, I'm leaning more towards Explorer 2. But after reading more on Explorer 2, I realise there might be a 50th Anniversary Model next year, which may be 40mm (that's the sweet spot for me) and new 3285 movement... Thus said all these are speculation and not confirmed... Now thinking if I should wait instead of purchasing immediately...

Outside case also cannot trust.

You see this example the word registered design, machaim some noob engraved it. (I suspect is the Vietnamese fake case)

Fakes are not 100%. The font sharpness, the colour of the text, the lume, the platinum powder filling on the ceramic bezel, the joints of the bracelet, the transition from bracelet to watch case, the amount of play in the crown, the smoothness of the winding...

Many factors have to add up.

Is is possible to get it through retail price(brand new)? i understand there are waiting list etc...

I am not in a rush to get it too.. just wanna where and how if possible

It's not easy to get a sub date.. Times have changed where subs are plentiful. You probably have a better chance to get the polar exp2. Now even that op 39 is hard to find. What a freaking weird world we are living in.

miss the boat of getting OP39 before **, gone a day after i left AD.
Gotten Air King as daily beater after ** as still no stock of any OP 31 or 39,

walked into 4 hour glass outlets singing the same tune.
Very heart pain to see my batman becoming bruised wayne .

The market isn't as bad as you think for luxury watches, do you get to see sport series when you walk in to any ADs?
Maybe you should try your luck by visiting various ADs maybe will hit jackpot.

Like ym, or half gold sub/gmt etc.

Can't expect much from THG, I haven't received a call since late 2019 from any of their shops for even an OP.
