Couple of questions here first

1) How much is your monthly Salary?
2) Are you paying full cash or by credit card installment?
3) What is your wrist size?
4) Do you only want brand new watch or open to preowned?
5) Besides Rolex, are you open to other brands? Tudor, Tag Heuer, Omega
6)If You are buying only Rolex, would this be likely your only watch or more Rolex watches likely to come?

Waaa.. many questions.
1 - average salary i guess..
2 - cash? Maybe use card for points.
3 - average man, dunno size.
4 - open to preown, but personal pantang not from pawn shop.
5 - Maybe yes, but personally like maurix Lacroix, but resale value i think no good.
6- maybe will get another 2-3 more

Some people buy Rolex and then keep it in a safe deposit box, only to wear for special occasions. I have a different view, and would recommend that you buy one to wear everyday for the rest of your life. If you buy a watch to keep, then buy it for any reason other than to use it e.g. as an investment, for special occasions, to show off etc. But for the one that you want to wear everyday, I would recommend the Submariner. You only need to wind the time, no bother about having to wind the date too. If you need the date, then get the Submariner with date. There isn’t any watch that exists in your price range that shouts expensive, even though it is not cheap, because Rolex watches have become common. If either Submariners do not appeal to you, then get the model that you are willing to wear everyday. If not, then buy it on the basis for why you want one in the first place. At the beginning, one may not be enough. Some time down the road, you will find out that it becomes a never ending endeavour, like most hobbies. When you are past it, you will realise that you will end up with the one that you originally wanted all the while, which brought you here in the first place. :o

Yeah, i think submariner is a safe bet. But personally i would like the oyster, oyster steel and white gold 41mm. Is the resale value for this ok?

Waaa.. many questions.
1 - average salary i guess.. (Please specify amount)
2 - cash? Maybe use card for points. (Please specify exact mode of payment)
3 - average man, dunno size. (Are you fit, plump, skinny?)
4 - open to preown, but personal pantang not from pawn shop. (ok, so grey dealers acceptable)
5 - Maybe yes, but personally like maurix Lacroix, but resale value i think no good. (Good to know, may recommend other brand if needed, but need to know your $$$)
6- maybe will get another 2-3 more (This feedback is noted)

Kindly see my comment above and answer it.

We do have someone previously asking on owning a $10k Rolex, with his $2.5-2.6k salary and mode of payment as well. So same questions applies to you before we can recommend.

Is it possible to walk into ADs like hour glass to get a submariner? Or is it like waiting list I saw mentioned for other popular models in this thread?
