You must be in very small cities where the demand is much lower ….. than there is a possibility to leave your name and wait a few months for maybe a GMT etc ….. but for big cities like London, Paris, Geneva etc ….. it’s pretty much the same ….. in SG multiple steel models are available form the AD ….. Deep Sea, Explorer 2, Yatchmaster etc just leave your name and wait awhile

My brother's Italian colleague managed to find him a Hulk at a small town AD in Italy - they drove 2 hours from Milan to go get the watch - that was back in 2018 IIRC

He went to ADs and indicated interest in the 'unwanted' steel models.
Including that yucksmaster.

The strategy he worked out was walk into AD, ask for random combination of SS sports models from the 'unwanted' list, and any SS model displayed at the store window. Those OP/DJ types. He figured anything displayed at the window ish what the AD ish trying to push. Lolz.

No new lolex regardless of model will trade below RRP sho long as there ish a wait.

A wait doesn't mean demand ish greater than supply.
Imagine an AD gets 5 TT gmts ebry quarter and there are also 5 pple on the list.
Ebryone of the 5 eventually gets the watch, but they still hab to wait 3 mths.
Avoiding that 3 mth wait ish what the extra premium on the gray market ish paying for.

Anyways TT gmts are ebrywhere at the windows.
ADs may be trying to push those models.
Better to go nao to list interest and hope to gets the call.
Before lolex price increase next year.

I did not ask if they have any gold pieces for sale. They just increased the price for the half gold (~1.5k) and full gold (~6k) models.

Today i went with collick to di siao the AD SA.
Tiagong the ADs are not doing well.

But 'not doing well' ish subjective.
Profits ish falling rike falling knife for past 2 years.
But they are still profitable and more profitable than pre covid.
Sho does that count as 'not doing well' ish subjective.

Tiagong the non-lolex sales ish take big hit and ish quite dire.
And lolex ish the AD's life boat.
ADs need customer to build relationship to save the non lolex brands.
Lolz.

Disclaimer i hab no interest in lolex.
I ish interested in the economics and psychology of the lolex market nia.
Sho i joined in for the fun.
I ish on the express interest list for a few pieces.
But if i get the call i will either reject or flip straight to gray.

But i admit I ish troll the AD/SA.

But i understands why some pple are offended by what i said.
All the 'build relationship' by dropping $40k on sh!tters at the AD just to try to qualify for a Batman.
When difference between rrp and grey ish just $7k+ nia.
And by right dropping $7k shld qualify.
But instead kenna tekan by AD into dropping $40k.
And ownself console ownself they spent money to 'build a relationship' based on money ish a secret special exclusive relationship.

For build relations part, its up to each individual. One dun have to purposely try to sux up to AD At most be a friend. Just like supplier relations. Really dun have to go carry balls. (this part I agree with prime13).

Always buy what you want when it comes to bundling.

If you are just after 1 rolex and if you find it easier to go grey to buy. Just go grey.
