I also going to tokyo in mid feb Someone mentioned about hotel sunroute plaza shinjuku. It cost about $170 plus a night . There is another one nearby called kadoya hotel which is $150++.

I find shinjuku accommodation is more expensive than Tokyo Main . Ended up I choose my accommodation in ikebukuro area.

I mentioned it. Kadoya looks ok at first glance.

Shinjuku has good transportation links to lots of places inside and out of Tokyo.

I'll be staying ikeburuko next trip but it isn't as convenient as Shinjuku IMHO.

Feb is considered winter and i don't know whether it is considered off peak season. Last time I didn't earn that much and yen was quite high. I always stay at ueno. Now the hotel that I stayed at ueno before cost less than $100 per night on my travelling date in Feb.

Read from booking.com the comments doesn’t look good. Anyone got any experience staying in this hotel recently?
Shinjuku washington?

Stayed before but dont recommend.
It is actually quite far from shinjuku station.

Interior is quite old though big for japan size.

Stayed at Shinjuku JR Blossom in May 2023 at a daily rate of about $170 per night, which i believe now shot up to over $200+++.

Going end of March 2024 Sakura season and booked Tokyu Stay Gotanda as the room has washer/dryer which fit my budget.

Its far, crowded, hotel is quite aged. Good things is limo bus goes to and fro the hotel and Haneda/narita. Have pachinko at ground floor.

I think there are some day trips that originates from the hotel (pick up point). Other than that, I dont think it is convenient as it is quite far from shinjuku station.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
I have search through and saw 2 hotels that fit my budget.

Domo hotel and WPU. Seem like both hotels quite far apart despite both near Train station.

Any one stayed at these 2 hotels before can advise or other suggestions
