Honestly, if hacker happen to get control of some of the EB810v and became Botnet then it will be big issue and became nationwide internet security issue then SH will be in trouble la. I did highlight this concern to SH. If it is found that an ISP's failure to update router firmware, which then leads to a botnet, can result in legal responsibility in Singapore, particularly under the Cybersecurity Act.This has been the issue all this while where Starhub and TP-Link are just playing Taichi. Starhub told me TP-link should provide support and firmware update. But we have seen so many members here being told by TP-link that Starhub should provide update.
I also email IMDA, but they said they can only help to report my case to Starhub and ensure they reply. I guess it will be back to square again.
