I switched off the tpg line in network.

Tap on tpg

Tap to turn off tpg

Now tpg is off

After that, turn it on again, it should reset.

Guys, check with you all. My friend is using xiaomi phone, and I managed to help him do the settings for the simcard to work liao, both data and calls. When he went JB yesterday, he says can't detect network so didn't get to use the auto roaming data. And after he came back Singapore, he can't use the data and calls here liao. I haven't got the chance to see his phone yet, but I hope if anyone can give some advice so I can help a friend too.

Go setting - more - reset WiFi, mobile data, Bluetooth -> reset the mobile data and the TPG

SIM CARD NOT WORKING

i went to Indonesia and i activated the roaming.
the line is not that stable and sometime the internet is suddenly not working and have to wait few minutes and the internet came back,
then i across this issue. suddenly came out with SOS call and suddenly the whole sim card unable to detect in phone. tried with another sim card for the slot used or swap either way. im sure its the simcard issue.
it shows NO SIM CARD at the slot.

Just got my own TPG SIM to use in my E5885 mobile router and the speeds are so unbearably slow even for normal web browsing. Instagram and Youtube is pretty much unusable.

Tried it on my phone and the speeds are fine. So why are they throttling the speeds on my mobile router?

I'm getting speeds below 0.5 megabits per second which is ridiculous.

firstly, how is this considered "ridiculous" why you are not charged to use their services.

secondly, this phenomenon should not be coming to as a surprise since it was already mentioned under the trial's FUP section.

Yah they are throttling all mobile router. so to get good speed is to share via phone. Not sure why, email them before they just don't wanna address this issue but suggest you to use Phone instead of router.

because they most probably overestimated your ability to read the FUP and thought it wouldn't be nice of them to reply you with the link or screenshot to it and make you feel like they are trying to challenge your capability to do so.

Add the APN settings to your phone. I am quite sure tpg gave you instructions specifically for that.

Tpg apn is tpg. Just create a new apn. Under apn slot just put tpg. Others dont bother. Save and activate. If you set apn before, sure will know.

Dont see the need for any instruction.

Try disabling VoLTE carrier check.

*#*#86583#*#* and you should receive a message "VoLTE carrier check was disable"

Also enter *#*#86583#*#* on the dialpad on your phone. Then turn on the voLTE setting which is necessary to make voice calls

No. TPG change their FUP after everyone go buy mifi to use TPG. My FUP says different. *Yes they have to right to add anything in their FUP*.

But well is free they can do whatever they like. With the current FUP and no coverage in mrt. Pretty useless for me also. I spend 50% of my time on phone while on MRT.


TPG was the best for Mifi because

1. VoLTE device limited (until today apple still refuse to enable VoLTE on Iphone)

2. None of my 4G phone android support VoLTE.

but strange thing is speedtest show high speed

youtube cant even play song

so tpg is only for phone and tablet

Yes they jam the speed and only allow Speedtest to run at full speed making u feel that your mifi spoil.

anyone experience before if I lost my TPG sim card, can i just go to the sim card pick up location to direct get a new sim card ? or it is better to get another new number XP?
