I am using Samsung Tab S3 with TPG. But every few hours the 4G dies and I get a "No sim card inserted, please insert sim card." error from the tablet. If I restart the tablet, it will work again for a while before hitting the same error.
Anyone having a similar problem with their devices?

Yes only certain phones can support.
My daughter's Oppo R9 plus is not supported.
Cannot expect much. It is free anyway.![]()

There's so much hurdles in their road to an official launch, one of the biggest being the big ya ya papaya Apple......
.
The “Mr. Tan” never contact Xiaomi ah?
I have been on the TPG trial since Feb. I am able to access the internet and use whatsapp for calls and messaging. However I am unable to make phone calls and send or receive SMS. I am using a samsung note 5. Is there any settings I need to change or set.
And when I send a whatsapp message to another person. The person sees my previous M1 Sim mobile phone number and not my TPG number even though I have replaced the M1 with the TPG sim card.
Appreciate any suggestions. thanks.
Its free for now, but since the company is preparing for an official launch soon, we can have expectations.

".....Mr Tan said while VoLTE has been around for some time and most phones support the technology, it does require adding TPG’s parameters to the device’s firmware settings. This is what device makers like Samsung, Huawei and Oppo have been doing, he pointed out.
Apple, however, has refused to add the telco’s settings to its carrier settings, he revealed.
“We have explained to them that we are a SIM-only operator and are not currently bundling phones with our service trial, and (Apple’s) decision inconveniences customers who may have signed up for a TPG service,” the executive said.
“We have also sought (regulator) IMDA’s help … but Apple has refused to budge from their position.”
This means that for those who are using TPG’s trial service, data and SMS services work but not voice calls. Given that Apple has “something like north of 40 per cent market share in Singapore", many are not able to enjoy its services to the full, he said.
“It is disappointing that Apple is abusing their position to the prejudice of consumers,” Mr Tan said."

So for the limited devices that support TPG is not entirely TPG's issue.
Lol dunNo which is true and which is inaccurate…
My mate9 has No volte at all in Singapore but has volte in malaysia using Digi sim.
And my set is a bonafide singapore retail unit.
Xiaomi no need to contact volte also works.

If every device maker implement it this way, then it won't be so troublesome.
The ball is actually on the device maker's court.
Aiya, not everyone know how to work arround lah.... also depending on what chipsets lah.... my key question is why not a single Xiaomi phone is listed as officially supported lah....
