I'm curious. Assuming I go to mynextcom and order online all the parts I need for building a PC (Cpu,Mobo,Gpu etc etc) and they deliver to my home free.

How much savings are we talking about if we get the same parts from Tradepac on average ?

If you know what you are doing, tradepac savings can be quite a substential amount.

Mynextcom will be slightly more expensive. Perhaps $60-$70 more in terms of same components or equivalent.

But I correct me if im wrong. I did wanna order a psu from them at $2xx. They did not want to deliver it to my house because of my locations.

So I guess it will be selected locations that they can deliver. Do check with them first before buying.

no wonder. I'm not saying my experience with tradepac was a bad one (I still managed to get discount) but the whole experience made me feel like they are trying to cheat your money or smth. I guess its just their selling tactics or what i dunno.

I must add, I actually got discount cos i told the guy at tradepac that i want msi b85-g43 gaming, but in his calculation he use the price of msi b85m-g43. lucky i used the highlighter to mark on their pricelist that i wanted the gaming mobo, so he had no choice but to accept his mistake and stick to his original quote of $138x

btw, tradepac pricelist had not been updated since 23 Sept. I just went down yesterday since i am currently clearing leave and intend to build an entry level rig to replace my mum's aging c2d.

Thus you may not have any way to know their price beforehand since most of the parts i want either stated "Offer" or "Ask". You will still need to go down and ask them to quote for you.

First time going Sim Lim to buy computer parts (CPU/MB/RAM/GPU)

All products should be fully sealed before paying them right?

For me only CPU was sealed. MB/RAM/GPU all not sealed. It's not as if the seal is already broken. There was no seal on them to begin with. Only the CPU got the intel seal, which I believe the reseller is not allowed to break.

Eg. MSI Z87A-G45 mobo, website price is $263. Whatsapp quoted $268 (somemore can tell me this is best price if pay with cash) , tradepac pricing $259 can bargain further.

So if really want to buy from mynextcom, buy from website, whatsapp them to confirm order. they will honor the price, can try your luck going down to bargain.

Have similar experience also. Trying to bargain with their online price with whatsapp but they die die dun want to give any discount. They insist on sticking with the indicated online price. I could easily save up alot of money if I purchase from tradepac coz they willing to give discount.
