So upset with UOB. Spent so much usually on their credit card and they r still denying me of my interest. The credit card statement charges me S$1400+ in April yet they say based on calender mth spending I don't hit S$500 cause there was a refund? Find it thoroughly confusing. Feel like they r overcharging me.

Need to have $500+refunded amount posted in calendar month for the bonus interest. Did you try to appeal?

Write to them explaining that you have spent more than $500 inspite of the refund. They will show you how they have arrived at their number. If they are right, then just request them to consider this time being a long time customer. Most likely they will consider. This is based on my experience with them.

I called to appeal. In the end they tell me this month I have to spend $500 + the short from last month. After that, then call in again to ask for appeal

I tried appealing, my second time (missed by $100 because I didn’t know car insurance charged yearly that is auto split into 12 months installment is not counted), and was unsuccessful.
