Does set up Recurring Payment via credit card and giro counts towards eligible spending.?
Yes, giro payment for UOB cc and other banks' cc will be counted towards the 3 giro payments for clocking bonus interest. However pls note that only for UOB cc, you can apply from UOB IB. For other banks cc, you need to download the hardcopy giro form from the respective card issuing bank to setup the giro arrangement.

Hi anyone receives call from Iras about paying advance payment taught here?
I was not told not to do it in a polite way expalining that i am disturbing the giro deduction. I can choose to pay all instead. Can i just ignore?
what method did you use to make the advance payment to IRAS?

Will have to submit a physical form to pay another bank's CC bill via giro. Do you know whether I'm able to terminate the arrangement via internet banking if the setup was through a physical form?

Depends. Axs or ipaymy. I am so surprise that they call
There was a tightening of tax payment via CardUp (similar to how ipaymy works) late last year. Read the FAQ at Cardup on the new requirement to pay IRAS via Cardup.
Basically if sign up with IRAS to pay your outstanding personal tax via GIRO monthly instalment, you pay that same amount every month via the schedule given to you by IRAS. This is to "plug" the loophole where members use various methods to pay IRAS variable amount per month and let the balance deduct via GIRO.

Many people do the same for various bills (ie giro then pay part of it via other means), dun see how this is an issue.
