Given that OCBC 360 bonus interest is only up till $70K, i did a comparison of $70K savings + salary bonus + eligible credit card spend for credit card bonus between BOC, OCBC and UOB for 30 days.

BOC gives the highest interest of up to $143/mth if it's used in conjunction with their card. Only their Family card suits my lifestyle (mostly general spend/ipaymy) but unfortunately there is a cap of $25 rebate per billing cycle as opposed to $100 in One Card.

Thanks for your suggestion though. I guess i've answered my own question. :)

Hi there, i also move to BOC. Unlike you, i dont use their account to credit my salary. I plan to use it for their bill payment and card spending (> 1500). :D

Thanks UOB and hi BOC.

Hi, like to seek clarity on how the UOB One credit rebate works. Assuming if I have made the following spendings during the quarter from Apr to June,

1) Apr $500
2) May $1000
3) June $500

does the credit rebate for the quarter work out as $65 (pro-rate tier 1 & 2 minimum spent: $16+$33+$16)?

i believe u have to call in and check with UOB what is ur card's 'Quarter'....UOB doesnt have a fixed quarter (the normal calendar Q1-Q4)...

for all u know, ur card's quarter could be mar/apr/may...meaning u spent apr and may for nothing coz u didnt spend >$500 in march already...

For new cards, first quarter is prorated because usually get the card in 2nd mth of quarter.

But still proration of rebate based on lowest spending ie 500 spend even if 2nd mth 500 and 3rd mth 1000.
