I thought 75k and above can get 7.8% already?

Yes, I mean do I have to keep the money for 30 days in the acct, or the day that the interest will be credited? I assumed that if I have 100k for 15 days, interest will be prorated?

I read it is based on the monthly average. So if you keep for 15 days then take out, the monthly average might not be 100k

May I know is the interest payout monthly if I meet all criteria on UOB one acct? TIA.
It depends on how much money you have inside the savings. 75k to 100k can get up to 7.8% per annum if you maintain that amount so just divide the amount by 12. 60-74k is 4.85% per annum

yes, need to keep 100k throughout the month. or you can put 200k for 15days to get monthly average balance as 100k.(based on 30day month), your average interest for the month will be 5%pa based on 100k. abt $416.67
you get the idea.

if you put 100k for 15day, your MAB is 50k. your average interest for the month will be 3.87%pa based on 50k. abt $161.35

There is a calcuator in the middle of the page. input ur amount, divide the annual interest by 12.
real monthly interest depends on the numbers of days in that month too.
Thanks for the reply...
Supposing today I open new UOB one account and deposit 100K, next month I spend >$500 credit card and credit $2000 salary, will I get interest about $433 somewhere around beginning of June?

If I spent more than 500 on UOB One card, have savings ard 75k inside UOB account and salary also credited into it, how do I receive the 7.8% interest? I will receive a fraction every month? Or one lump sum at the end of the year?

I used the calculator n seems like I can earn up to 3k+ in terms of interest and cashback per annum based on 75k savings
Hi,

You are misreading the adv info. you will not earn the 7.8% part if you only place 75K.
7.8%pa only affect the last 25k if you place 100k.

UOBone bonus interest is tiered. Like how income tax works.

First S$30,000 3.85%
Next S$30,000 3.90%
Next S$15,000 4.85%
Next S$25,000 7.80%
Above S$100,000 0.05%

So your case of 75k, ur first 30k 3.85%, next 30k 3.9%, next 15k 4.85%. you have no fund in the 7.8% tier.
So the average is 4.06% based on 75k. average monthly interest about $254.38.

So if you want to maximise your interest earning, you have to place 100k instead. Then your average interest is 5% based on 100k. average monthly interest about $416.67.

There is no lump sum at the end of year.

From 01 Dec 2022, if you spend min. $500 on eligible CC spend and credit your salary, and has $100k in UOB one acct, the bonus interest per month should be :

28 days in the month = $379.91
29 days in the month = $393.48
30 days in the month = $407.05
31 days in the month = $420.62
What if no salary credit but I set 3 auto GIRO transactions to UOB one account, do you still get monthly interest?

If I deposit 100K tomorrow and fulfill the credit card spend and salary, how much interest will I get for April?
is the below calc correct? Apr = 6 days (26-30 Apr)

Apr: 100,000 x 6 / 365 * 5% = 82.19
May:100,000 x 31 / 365 * 5% = 424.65

no, ur apr monthly average is 100000*6/30 = 20000
based on 20k, first 30k is 3.85%, so 20000*3.85%*30/365 = $63.29

May one correct

Regarding GIRO Payment Cash reward , anyone knows how to set GIRO bill payment with the transaction description “GIRO-Inward Debit”. I'm thinking to pay my M1 & Singtel bill via GIRO using UOB one account. Do I contact M1/Singtel (Bank Giro form) or UOB (Internet GIRO form application form) to fill up form? How to ensure description is “GIRO-Inward Debit”?
Sorry, I'm a bit confused applying GIRO payment.
