So CardUp can still qualify for cash rebate on UOB One Card?

In the past with their processing fee it doesn’t make sense to use it because getting 5% directly on insurance premium, but now maybe it will be more competitive even minus off the processing fees.

But only worry is when will UOB exclude CardUp....

Not really competitive, more of no choice

What are the types of transactions that can only use grabpay wallet?
I can think of these:
- those retail stores where you scan the QR code to pay
- favepay using grabpay (since it will use grabpay wallet)
- GrabPay Card (the virtual/physical MasterCard)

Wrong. Anything that uses Grabpay wallet, will have nothing to do with UOB, and you won't get any rebates for it. This is because all Grabpay wallet transactions draw on amounts previously topped up into the Grabpay wallet. Meaning, if you want to get the 10% rebate for UOB, you need to select the UOB card as your payment method, within the Grab app. Do NOT use grabpay wallet to pay.

This means that the 10% rebate is applicable only for:
-Grabfood transactions, paid directly with UOB credit card
-Grab rides transactions, paid directly with UOB credit card

The rebate is NOT applicable to:
-Paying retail with QR code, as payment comes out of your Grabpay wallet, not UOB credit card
-Favepay, as payment comes out of your Grabpay wallet, not UOB credit card. Or if it comes out of your UOB credit card, then it has nothing to do with Grab and is still not a Grab transaction. But at least counts towards basic min. spend and rebates haha.
-Paying retail with Grabpay Mastercard, as payment comes out of your Grabpay wallet, not UOB credit card

Steady explanation. Just go top your GrabWallet to $2000 now and close the card ASAP. $500 monthly will do. SPC and misc

I don't really think there're any alternatives left.

I've signed up for CardUp but I dunno if I want to go through the hassle of cancelling my credit card arrangement with the insurance company and hook up with CardUp.

After calculation, instead of the $50 quarterly rebate, after deducting CardUp fee, maybe only $15-$20 quarterly rebate left.

And we have no idea when UOB will exclude CardUp too.

*woes of a banking customer lol*

My qualifying quarter is Nov, Dec, Jan.

May I know when I should receive the rebate assuming I meet the qualifying spend?

TIA

Buying of NTUC vouchers using the One card counts towards the min spending, right? Thinking of using that to make up the min spend.

My new qualifying quarter starts today.

So can I assume as Long as I TOP up my grab wallet before 16 Mar, it will still be considered as qualifying spend?

Don’t want to get a shock comes end June when I don see the rebate.

TIA
