Received this sms mins ago "Your UOB One Credit Card cashback for minimum S$2,000 spend will also be revised to up to 3.33% (S$200 quarterly cashback) with effect from the statement month from Aug to Oct quarter."

Nothing new, already announced a month back.

"W.e.f. 1 August 2022, payments to IPAYMY, RWS-LEVY, SMOOVE PAY, SINGPOST – SAM, Razer Pay and CardUp will be excluded from the awarding of cashback."

Not many cards left worth to use for IPayMy and CardUp any more. So any other ways to pay for insurance that can still use credit card or earn rebate?

there'll be people who'll need it and yes, your scenario is one of them. everyone's use cases are different so now it's not so straighforward as compared to 5% was more attractive previously.

btw, it's worth noting for miles collectors that the remaining UOB cards does not exclude CardUp for UNI$ earning (likely striked a tie-up thingy). iPayMy is excluded for everything.

In practices, this card only works for Prudential and/or Aviva. And Prudential portal only allows you pay 12 days before the due day.
Aviva doesn't have online portal. Must use form and charge the whole amount to the card.
