You are same as the other reader on Amex TCB spend so much annually still cannot get waived. If only banks reveal the actual criteria (some card CSO reveal) some don't.

Wonder will you cancel and move on and forgot the quarterly rebate? Quarter vs other card monthly if forgo really heart pain.

They seem to be more lenient this year (for cases with more than one card).

My card hardly used. Auto request rejected. Called up hotline to request waiver. They say if do 3 transactions of any amount on the same day they will waive it. I did and they waive.

This happened in Apr. But tiagong they have a huge increase of applications due to concert Tix priority. So not sure if they now still treasure existing customers.

do you have other UOB cards? got people shared before that chance (of waiver) is higher if only one card with the bank. then again... nobody knows exactly what's the criteria.

if I were you I'll not pay for the card (i.e. cancel) unless the rebates collected minus the annual fee is still better than the next fuss-free card (e.g. SC Unlimited/Simply Cash)

i have a installment plan currently charged to the UOB one card.
i suspect could be due that that ...as they know i am 'stuck' with this card.

Same for me, spend 500 and thereabout, never in excess and so far no issue in the getting the fee waived, maybe this year they more 'strict'

Has anyone applied for this card recrntly? I've been trying to apply since Feb but UOB auto rejects and just tells me "internal credit requirements" and cannot give me any other info. Funny thing is I actually used the card 3 years ago but cancelled it.

UOB very quick to approve account application, but also very quick to reject credit card application without giving me any other info. Makes the UOB One account completely useless since I can't use the card together with it.

You mean send them via mail? Is that even an option? Or you mean go down to bank and apply? I went down to their branch during non-peak hours a month ago and had to wait 3hrs. Now with the Taylor Swift concert coming up, I can't imagine how long their queues must be
