That's very long. They advertised on their website that if you apply online with supporting documents, you will get it within the same day. I thought that was impressive, given that Citibank has on-the-spot approval. But Citibank's offerings are not really as good.

Totally not true! I sent my documents in 2 days ago, but have not gotten any status confirmation. The worse thing is the CSO gave me an incorrect email address. And their was no confirmation that my email was received.

I'm thinking of OCBC 365 but it seems like UOB One Card with the One Account is still better.

Anyone here didn't manage to get their card fee waived even with $500 - $1000K monthly spending and UOB one account?

Wah if you spend 1000k a month and they don't waive your annual fees then they must be nuts, lol. Well, unless you spend that money and never pay the bank lar.

Anyway used to be that we just had to spend $7,200 a year to qualify for automatic waiver of annual fees. I just checked and not sure when it was revised but it looks like they've up it to 12k spending a year which is 1k a month.

Still, at least it's fuss free. =:p

Can I confirm for this One card, you need to spend $500 every month, for 3 months, to get a $30 cashback at the end of it? Isn't this lower than other banks offering 6-7% cashback and also more difficult to achieve?

Pls share with us the 6-7 percent cash back lobangs

There isn't any other credit cards offering those rates. The other bank that offers 6% cashback is OCBC, but it is only for dining.

No, there are quite a few cards offering 7%, 8% or 10% rebates now.

7%: SCB Singpost for online, BOC family for dining
8%: Citibank Cashback for dining, fuel, groceries, UOB yolo weekend dining, entertainment, Maybank Family and Friends at selected cash rebate merchants
10%: CIMB Visa signature for dining and online in foreign currency; CIMB platinum Masters for travel, health and beauty.

Of course TnC applies.

weekend dining somemore.

without the use of petrol. this card yield only 3-6%, the weightage depends on how much of weekend dining vs other selected categories, assuming all spendings yield at least 3%.

i find it hard to predict and regulate dining spending, so i will rather use optimum to get about 4.5-4.7% after rounding down. i just need to watch out for my spending in the 3rd quarter and redeem by the last quarter.

telco and budget flights i use singpost, but with the uncertainty that singpost had with jetstar and other tickets, and various new exclusions such as grabtaxi and online groceries, it is increasingly a "frank" frustration with singpost. dunno when i will need to unpost singpost.

it may sound dump of me to ask. is the e-statement exactly the same as the paper statement that is sent to the home?

i had previously seen people posted, saying that the quarter is stated on the statement. but i look thru my e statement at least two times, but i dun see the quarter being stated anywhere. did i miss something?

It is stated in last sentence of rewards summary.

It is stated in last sentence of rewards summary.

does that mean in the first statement, where there is no rewards yet, or if one did not spend 500 in all 3 months and had no rewards, the quarter will not be printed?

Not sure, but I thought even with no rewards the sentence would still be there. What u see under "rewards summary" section of the first statement?

Does the quarterly cashback count into my spending for the month?

I.e
I spent $500 in June + received the $50 cashback for the previous quarter. In this case do I have to charge $550 to qualify for the minimum $500 spending? Or just $500 as usual?

Interestingly, they didn't charge me annual fee saying that the first-year annual fee is waived. I thought I'm second year customer?

Or maybe you met the $12,000 for auto waiver? lol, it's ok lah, save the trouble to ask for waiver.

If statement date is 3rd June

The months on that page refers to the statement date

If statement is in 3rd,
April to June means 3rd april, 3rd may, 3rd june statements. Which means the period from 4 mar to 3 jun
