Lol. Still need at least 3-4weeks. This is already way faster than other Giro applications, except for IRAS tax GIRO payment.

Additional Rebate for Grab Transactions

Anyone know what is the cap for the additional rebate that can be earned from grab transactions through UOB One card?

Stated in the terms and conditions:
"The Additional Rebate will be calculated based on the aggregate total Selected Merchant Transactions successfully charged and posted to the Card Account in each Statement Month, capped at S$100 per Statement Month. "

$100 cap is on the additional rebate per statement month or aggregate total grab transactions successfully charged per statement month?

$100 for additional 5%. So max $2000 spend on grab per month

if i spend 2000 quarterly, i will receive 300.

Rebate not considered for min spend, so just spend $2000 will do. Btw grab rebate will come in about same time as quarterly rebate, not monthly.

When i first applied for this in feb, only received it in late april partly because of them requesting a number of document (fresh grad so must produce employer letter and payslip etc)

Just quoting one of my previous posts...the same thing happened to me for online application. Called and was told that it was rejected and the CSO doesn't know why rejected (yet I wasn't informed of the rejection and its reason).

Just stomped into a branch the next day to bang table. Immediate approval on the spot.

If there's really so much hooha just to reap the benefits/rewards for online application...I rather not have it. Might as well get approval asap to reap the monthly interest, don't you think?
