uob doesnt want to waive my card annual fee. what is the criteria for waiving? i spend ard 300-400 a month. never reach 500 for quite a few months already as i cut down my expense. do i still need to pay the annual fee tt has been charged in my latest statement?

uob pattern is that they let you maintain one card with them.

all the rest, if usage not high, they refuse to waive, forcing you to cancel. so you just choose one that is worthwhile to keep, the rest use other banks lor

You can call to hotline and cancel the card without paying the annual fees.

Not counted to card spend for rebate if pay direct to Prudential, counted to uob one account $500 spend for bonus interest though.

Counted to both rebate and interest if pay prudential via ipaymy or cardup.

Would welcome opinions on either ipaymy or cardup as I am looking to use them to meet UOB one min spending ....

TQ!

user of cardup.

setup is fuss free and simple. occasionally got special rates then can use to update upcoming payment. so far... never got issue with meeting min spend for UOB and getting the quarterly cash rebates.

they also email you promptly when the money is charged to your card and paid to your intended payee.
