Latest update on UOB one account
=================================

Spend min. S$500 (calendar month) on eligible UOB Card AND make 3 GIRO debit transactions - 2.50%
Spend min. S$500 on eligible UOB Card AND credit your salary via GIRO - 3.85%

Question is if i achieve all the above, do i get 2.50% + 3.85% = 6.35%, or UOB will just give the higher one (3.85%)?

Only the Higher One. That is for sure. It's either or.

I wonder if i can open multiple UOB one accounts, with salary goes into the main one. The secondaries one, can be used for other purposes. If can open multiple, wonder if the interest rate will still apply, as if these one accounts are combined into 1

Tried applying for the card this morning, afternoon and evening. After authorising on singpass app it kept hitting a "440 error". Any one got any suggestions why?

Yes it's 440. Not a typo for 404.

if one month you miss would it be shiok?
Worse is if you charge 2 mths already then get charged annual fee which UOB refuse to waive even after appeal.

Then you give up charging for third month and ask them to terminate card and two weeks later retention unit call up and say annual fee waived.

The quarterly rebate instead of monthly rebate is really a pain.

Is this the only quarterly rebate credit card in Singapore ?

'unfortunately' this is still the highest rebate card for $500 or $1000 spend at 8.33% (3.33% + 5% for selected merchants) so have to be careful in order to maximise the cashback from the card.

dislike the quarterly system but just have to play by their rules...

the other cards all have other conditions and caps - which I find not as favourable based on my spending pattern.

I understand that BNPL MCC code is either 5399 and 5999, so does paying Atome under 5999 qualify for UOB one quarterly rebates? I can’t find 5399/5999 under their exclusion but will there be any hidden t&c for BNPL? Thanks

Yeah i'm curious to know as well for Shopback Paylater, whether it is valid.
hi Bro, so have you tried and any feedback ?

i am sure this was asked before, just wanna clarify for faster response.

for the uob one card quaterly spending, for example, January i spend $500, Feburary i spend $1k, March i spend $500.

The cashback will still be based on $500 right? so it will be 3.3percent of $1500 (instead of $2k), and cashback is about $50 only ya.

Meaning if in a quarter, if there is 1 month that only hit $500, but the other 2 months hit 1k for example, you will be considered in the lower tier $500 expenditure yea?

this UOB ONE CARD is f**king shiok.
its good for my use case.

i use my uob one card to pay my phone bills for me and my family, relatives as they using my name to have multi service saver. they will pay me the money. so that way, already fufill about $250 for their bills. then remaining $250 use for groceries which surely hit $500.

But if u say like until so shiok, its not really.
its only 3.3 percent and quarterly cap at $500 i think unless all 3 months is $1k and above.

for online purchases, i use Citibank SMRT card, i always max out and get $600 cashback for my online purchases every year. Even had to use my wife smrt card to get the 5 percent. also max out her card to get $600 cashback.

Citibank smrt card is always my first choice for online purchases. Once i max both of SMRT cards(me and wife), i will use standard chartered manhattan for large amount purchases but only at 3 percent for one off purchases.

I think it's shiok if you consider the extra 5% from purchases with Diary Farm Group (eg. Cold Storage), Shopee, SimplyGo etc.

But the customer service side really getting worse.

ya the shopee one is attractive. however still need meet the minimum spend of $500 per quarter to have that qualified.

And shopee also nowadays give out enticing coupons and free shipping coupons but majority only can be use with shopeepay. So if u use uob card as your payment mode, then cant utilize those coupons. But usually events like 10.10, 11,11 or 12.12 might have a few exception coupons that allow credit card payment instead of shopee pay.

Hello UOB one users! This is my first UOB ONE credit card. I am not very sure how come there are two different amounts reflected in my UOB app for my UOB one credit card? Why is there a discrepancy in the amount between “current statement due” and “amount used”? Which is the amount I should be looking at when paying off my credit card bills ?

Seek advice on this please thanks v much! Previous credit cards that I have used only have one amount -statement due, so I am not so sure why UOB is like that.
