My quarter goes like this for past one yr..
Eg.. Aug, sep, oct.. Then nov statement receive the rebates the moment i see the statement.

Then nov, dec, jan.. Then february statement.. NO REBATES CREDITED?!

Called them..they say FORGOTTEN to credit.. I receive the paper statement show cash rebate earned under Rewards Summary my rebate amt but nv credit to me.. So CSO said sorry by nxt statement date will credit for me the rebate..

Come march statement.. NO REBATE! physical statement show the amt under reward sunnary still there but nv give me.. Wrote in last fri, till nw nv call back.. Today call in.. Alot of waiting in between..

This time the CSO initially tell me to wait for nxt quarter (wtf seriously) but after aruing n on hold for damn long, he came back n said "u shdnt have paid ur last statement balance of $500 (example) full, u shd hv paid $420 (eg if my rebate $80).

Last mth say forgotten, this mth say i pay too much when i simply follow my statement balance since they didnt give me my rebate like previous quarters im a fixed date..

So i insist i want the rebate credited as i hv bad experience so far with only uob cards. He juz keep say pay my current mth statement balance minus the rebate amount.

Anyone doing that at the moment?


I told him to mail me a letter regards to this procedure. Arbo ltr pay less they any how charge me late fee like last time bu shi jia lat?

Too bad i hv instalment on-going till july, wish to cancel the card. Anyone noe theres any way to cancel it like repay the instalment full amount? Im having serious trust issue with this ultimate clawback king bank.

I recall something like this. For the month when rebate is credited, the spending/balance has to be >= the rebate amount in order to receive full rebate.

E.g. if previous 3 months spending qualify for $150 rebate, but in the 4th month i only spend $100, i will only get $100 rebate credited. Need to spend >=$50 the following month to get the remaining...

Yup my past one year every mth spend $800, becuz i need to hit the tier mah, $800 cfm more than their rebate amount. Usually they offset the moment the statement out, this time nv.

Yes, cant stand their crappy reasons. Even if i pay up $2k for no reason, they shd still give me my rebates. Nw trying to say i shdnt pay the statement balance... Hot ah!!!!

My UOB One also give me my rebate on time every single quarter, been using it for years. No need chase.

My uob one past one year no need chase, the last quarter rebate chased for two months knn one. I suspect maybe becuz the month they credit rebate my principal card no spending (all spending in supp card).

Nt sure why but chase them stuff damn inflexible.. System is third world compare to dbs or amex.
