Only gd for spc petrol..21%
hi guys..i have some prudential mthly insurance premiums to pay..will charging to my UOB One entitle me to rebate as well? as i know some cards don't give rebate on mthly auto transactions
Isn't the POSB Everyday card better for SPC?
no uob1 is the best for spc if you use it properly
How do the rebate works if u sign for installment plan? lets say 4k item for 6 months ?

Every month just take into account whatever you are charged in that month. So it's $666.66 a month, and if you hit $800 each month for 3 consecutive months then you get $80 on the 4th month lor..
Note that you need at least 3 transactions a month to qualify, means asides from that $666.66 transaction, you need to charge another 2 times in each month.
POSB Everyday used to be the best card to use at SPC until UOB came along in recent months.
For gross $60 petrol at SPC:
After 15% off (10% SPC&U Card discount + 5 % POSB-Everyday or UOB Card discount), payable amount= $51.00.
Using POSB Everyday, 6% rebate on $51 gets $3.06.
Nett petrol =$47.94= 20.1% off.
Using any UOB Card, get $3 off on $51= $48.
Using UOB One, get a further 3.33% on $48=$1.60.
Nett petrol=46.40=22.67% off.
In summary, for a gross of $60 petrol pumped at SPC, POSB everyday gives 20.1% discount while UOB One gives 22.67% discount.
Thanks for the detailed info. I went to read up a bit more and realised that the extra $3 discount doesn't apply to me because I ride a bike - definitely won't hit $60 each time I pump!![]()

Just go to NTUC Fairprice, Cold Storage, Giant, etc and use PayWave to pay for an 80c mentos and then a 40c mineral water to create that all important 2 additional transactions. A 40c mineral water can sometimes be a matter of $150 rebate/month or none.
thanks , what if lets say i spent $900 this month , next month $400 and 3rd month $1600 ? how much rebate it counts?
$30 rebate
Rebate is based on the lowest spending bracket for the quarter.Ok thx, so it count towards these lowest tier. So rebate is fixed at $30/80/150 ?
Rebate is based on the lowest spending bracket for the quarter.
If u spend $300 for 1st month, $1000 for 2nd month & $10000 for 3rd month, u still get rebates based on $300. So must plan carefully. I just applied for this card.
My fixed monthly spend each month is almost $300. I will charge my starhub, viewqwest, m1 & S&CC charges to it as recurring payment. Add in some NTUC Fairprice payments via paywave & sure to hit $300. And with $300 pm for 1 quarter i get $30. Not bad lah.
Any other charges i will charge to my ANZ Travel which gives 1%. Big amt $3000 & above goes to manhattan world which gives 3%.
If i just use UOB one for overseas expenses, do i earn the 2 % rebate? or i also need to hit the min 300 for 3 month?
