Can anyone advice if the following spending is entitled to any rebates?

1st month = $200
2nd month = $600
3rd month = >$1000

How will the cash rebates work, if any? I contacted the CSO and was told because 1st month never hit $300, the ENTIRE quarter is not entitled to any rebate regardless of how much spending in 2nd and 3rd month.:s22:

Thanks much in advance!

the cso is correct hor

u must hit $500 monthly for new tier

$300 monthly for old tier

All earlier discussion is for new card application

The work of CSO is simple - providing clarification. But more often than not, advice from CSOs is not helpful. Listen to CSOs at own risk.

Here, rebates will be awarded:
$0/$16.66/$16.66= $33.33

Zero rebate, the CSO already answer your question correctly

Maybe you can elaborate if this is the spending for the first qualifying quarter or otherwise.
Answers differ.

If charge insurance to uob one, counted as spend anot

for a sec I was wondering why u asked a "repeated" question- then i found that this(insurance) was not mentioned online:
http://www.uob.com.sg/one/rebate.html
Just follow :
4. Exclusions
4.1. Transactions in respect of the following: (a) any cash advances; (b) any late payment charges or interest charges on any Card; (c) any fees payable to the Bank (or any other third party) for transfer of any debit balance on any other credit card to a Card; (d) any other interest, fees and charges (including without limitation, cash advance, annual or monthly fees or charges) imposed by the Bank from time to time; (e) balance and/or funds transfers to or from the Card Account; (f) any credit card transaction that was subsequently cancelled, voided or reversed for any reason; and any other transactions as may be prescribed by the Bank,

As long as it is not excluded, insurance payment should be ok!

I paid insurance for July - will know only in Nov statment
My 2014 insurance was accepted as valid

Does the UOB one card "additional 2% rebate" on oversea spend disappear??

For existing One Cardmembers
From 1 October 2015, existing One Cardmembers will enjoy the new spend tiers from their new qualifying quarters. The 2% overseas cash rebate promotion will no longer apply. See FAQ for details

Insurance is considered a valid spend. There is almost no exclusion for UOB ONE spending, other than the usual (and reasonable) late fee/annual fee/finance charge/cancelled transactions etc etc.
