Last month I applied for UOB one annual fee waiver got rejected. say never spend enough. need spend 12000 per year then can get waiver. I only spend about $500 a month also

You pay in time each month? Track record also part of the consideration.
Err...I never need to speak to any of their CSO...Just call their hotline, leave my details and next day or so they will send SMS to inform successful waiver of annual fee...
Dunno why you guys find it tough...
Getting a fee waiver rejection from UOB or OCBC is like seeing a ghost. You won't believe it until you see it for yourself.
Unfortunately, from the comments in this forum, OCBC never learned about retaining customers and tends to be very calculative over late fees and interest charges.Getting a fee waiver rejection from UOB or OCBC is like seeing a ghost. You won't believe it until you see it for yourself.

UOB is also quite silly with its rejection for waiver requests done over the phone. The good thing is writing in after the initial rejections generally works. (UOB is still dumb though as man efforts could have been saved if they had just waived annual fees generously like some other banks.)
UOB is infact the worst bank service provider in Singapore.
I don't relate my story here but to give affirmation.
