with bkground app refresh whatsapp should download all new messages immediately even when app is not active. previously without app refresh u will receive e notification, open e app, e app will connect, then download e messages

laggy for me when i switch from chat back to the messages homepage. heh. reinstalled once and sync, lag. reinstalled without syncing and lost all my data. still lag. yay.

The only issue I found is after you send a message the whole list doesnt scroll up smoothly ... the bubbles kind of fold and then scroll up ... not too pretty

Also battery seems to have improved a lot ... have been doing heavy whatsapp since morning and calls like any other day ... only spent about 30% in office when usually it would have cost me 50% !!

Maybe those post got issue or not list down your phone model then we all know if affect older or all models

I'm experiencing slight jerks during the transition back from individual chats into the chat listings.. anyone feeling this? reduce motion is on, deleted and reinstalled, and even skipped restoring chat backup but still no improvement. omg

Everything was working fine on my iPhone even after the updating.

The UI is now consistent with IOS7 look & feel
And finally we can choose IOS7 message tone

But still unable to select custom tones.

The only lag I experienced is not really lag.

When scrolling thru all the chats, then selecting the chat... the screen slides from left to right, the FPS (frame rate seems not so high).

Overall still considered pretty smooth.

Yeah... Happens on the 5S for me as well...

yeah there's abit of lag when transiting back and forth, it is not as fluid as the previous version. let's hope an update will solve that issue
