but why do u think new gen will smoke less?
it seems to me like a social ill which the gamen cannot easily control. even if US can control, other 3rd world cannot control easily.

dunno whether tabaco politics still is an influence in US erections.

Cannabis and vaping are more of what gen z in US do rather than traditional cigarette. JUUL not really doing well and is moving out of several markets. Doesn’t really brood well for the stock in the long term for developed countries. 3rd world countries, just a matter of time before e-cigg takes over completely too but that is also dependable on governments.

Asia Morning: US Stocks Advance Despite Mixed NFP Report
December 7, 2020

On Friday, the three major U.S. indices closed higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 248 points (+0.8%) to 30218, S&P 500 added 32 points (+0.9%) to 3699 and Nasdaq 100 gained 61 points (+0.5%) to 12528. Energy (+5.4%), Semiconductors & Semiconductor Equipment (+2.8%) and Materials (+2.0%) sectors led the rally.

Approximately 93% of stocks in the S&P 500 Index were trading above their 200-day moving average and 72% were trading above their 20-day moving average. The VIX Index dropped 0.49pt (-2.3%) to 20.79.

On Monday, the three major U.S. indices ended mixed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 148 points (-0.5%) to 30069 and S&P 500 fell 7 points (-0.2%) to 3691, while Nasdaq 100 rose 68 points (+0.5%) to 12596.

Consumer Durables & Apparel (+1.0%), Technology Hardware & Equipment (+0.9%) and Media (+0.7%) were the best performing sectors on the day, while Energy (-2.4%), Insurance (-1.6%) and Real Estate (-0.9%) sectors dropped the most.

Approximately 93% of stocks in the S&P 500 Index were trading above their 200-day moving average and 77% were trading above their 20-day moving average. The VIX Index jumped 0.57pt (+2.7%) to 21.36.

Data from the ANDROMEDA Study Show Hematologic Response for DARZALEX FASPRO® (daratumumab and hyaluronidase-fihj) in Newly Diagnosed Light Chain (AL) Amyloidosis

These data supported the recent submission to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seeking approval for DARZALEX FASPRO® in combination with bortezomib (VELCADE®), cyclophosphamide and dexamethasone (D-VCd) for the treatment of patients with AL amyloidosis. The submission is being reviewed under the Real-Time Oncology Review Program to seek the first approval for any drug to treat this disease.

"AL amyloidosis is a rare blood disorder in which abnormal proteins build up in the tissues and organs and eventually cause major organ deterioration," said study investigator, Raymond L. Comenzo, M.D., Director, John C. Davis Myeloma and Amyloid Program, Tufts Medical Center. "The data being presented at ASH show the potential of this new treatment regimen. Compared to VCd alone, the D-VCd regimen increased hematologic response rates and prolonged major organ deterioration-progression-free survival (MOD-PFS) in patients with AL amyloidosis."
